Springfield residents start yard card business with a holiday treat

Two Springfield residents have started a yard card business with the hopes of expanding to a store front in the near future.

“We’re trying to go a step above the yard card scenario and we’ll be adding little gifts in with all of our yard cards and greetings,” Kim Harris, co-owner of A Sign of the Times said.

For $45, local residents will receive a 24-hour rental of elf signs and 12 candy canes hidden in their yard. For $55, they will receive the signs, candy canes and a hot cocoa set for the family to share.
